The Volunteer/Intern
As a volunteer, you can work in administration, fundraising, help with homework, or in our art, reading, music, and dance clubs.
Volunteer/Intern Qualifications
Maisha Yangu Organization is looking for committed volunteers and interns who champion children and youth empowerment. To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Finished your higher learning or are enrolled in a university/college pursuing a degree.
- Have transferable skills.
- Experience in various professions.
Students
Our students come from Kawangware and are from families living in poverty. Children served are in grades 4 to 8 and all classes in secondary school.
Meeting Frequency
The volunteer renders services at the Maisha Yangu centre at least 3 times a week.
