Since the foundation of the Maisha Yangu Organization in 2020, we have grown steadily, tripling both the number of children and the number of educational programs we offer and the positive impact of our community.
We accompany the children over a long period of time, build close relationships with them and thus have a strong positive influence on the individual and their life path. This is what makes our concept so unique and the positive impact so strong.

With the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the international community has created a framework for joint solutions to overcome the great challenges facing us - such as migration, climate change, environmental destruction, poverty and hunger. With our diverse programs, we contribute to achieving the following Sustainable Development Goals:
Monitoring & Evaluation
We want to continuously improve our education services and increase the positive impact on our community.
Therefore, we use a monitoring and evaluation system with clear, measurable targets. In addition, we regularly check the impact of our programs by means of surveys and personal feedback meetings with our students, their parents, and the community at large.
Thanks to our impact assessments, we know that children who have taken part in our programs achieve significantly better marks and more discipline compared to those who have not. We have also proved that supplementary psychosocial development work done leads to considerably higher completion rates in school, better family dynamics, and reduced delinquent behavior.
